About Zakopane Trip

Zakopane Trip is an independent travel resource dedicated to helping you discover Zakopane and the Polish Tatras around it, from the pedestrian street Krupówki and the funicular to Gubałówka to the peaks, chained ridges and turquoise lakes of the Tatra National Park, the wooden villages of the Podhale and their thermal baths, the Pieniny and the Dunajec gorge, the Slovak Tatras just across the border, and the day trips that make sense from Kraków.

What we do

We create in-depth, regularly updated travel guides covering Zakopane, the villages of the Podhale around it and the Tatra National Park above it, day trips to Morskie Oko and the Dunajec gorge, hikes to Giewont and Rysy, the thermal baths at Chochołów and Białka Tatrzańska, the Slovak Tatras and Kraków, and practical planning advice — including getting here via Kraków airport and the Zakopianka road — for both first-time and repeat visitors. Every article is researched thoroughly and written to give you genuine, useful advice — not generic filler content.
