Poland uses the złoty (PLN), so every price in Zakopane and the rest of the Tatras is already in złoty — visitors coming from the eurozone will need to convert. Card payment is accepted almost everywhere in town and at most mountain huts, though horse carriages, market stalls and some hut cafés still expect cash.
