Cable cars and funiculars around Zakopane
Zakopane's two main lift rides are the PKL cable car from Kuźnice up to Kasprowy Wierch at 1,987 m, and the funicular from the top of Krupówki to Gubałówka at 1,126 m; on the Slovak side, a cable car climbs to Lomnický štít from Tatranská Lomnica. Dated tickets for Kasprowy sell out early in high season and summer weekends, and service can pause in strong wind.
