Museums and attractions in Zakopane

Zakopane's indoor sights range from regional and highlander-culture museums and wooden villa architecture in the town centre to the ski-jump complex at Wielka Krokiew, host to an FIS World Cup each January, and viewpoints reached by the Gubałówka funicular. Many are compact and can be combined into a half-day walking route from Krupówki. Some smaller museums close one day a week, so it is worth checking beforehand.
