Pieniny castles and the Dunajec gorge

The Pieniny stretch east of Zakopane combines Niedzica castle on Czorsztyn lake, the ruined Czorsztyn castle across the water, the Dunajec gorge between Sromowce and Szczawnica, and the Trzy Korony viewpoint at 982 m inside Pieniny National Park. Rafting and castle visits are usually paired into a single day trip. Opening hours for the castles are shorter outside the summer season, so timing matters.
