Transfers and transport around Zakopane
Private and shared transfers connect Zakopane with Kraków and Kraków's Balice airport (KRK), a journey of about 110 km and two hours by road, plus shuttle and minibus links to the Podhale villages, Morskie Oko's Palenica Białczańska car park and across the border into Slovakia. Private cars cannot drive up to the national park's trailheads, so the last stretch is always on foot, by shuttle, or by carriage.
