Highlander feasts around Zakopane

Górale evenings pair a set highlander meal, often built around oscypek smoked sheep cheese, with live folk music and dancing in a mountain-style barn or restaurant in Zakopane or a nearby Podhale village. Oscypek itself is a PDO product made only from May to September, so cheese served outside that window is not freshly made locally. Evenings are usually a fixed programme rather than an à la carte menu.
