Dunajec river rafting in the Pieniny
Traditional wooden raft trips run down the Dunajec gorge between Sromowce Niżne and Szczawnica, poled by highlander raftsmen through the Pieniny mountains beneath Trzy Korony, with Niedzica castle and Czorsztyn lake nearby. The season runs from April to October, weather and water level permitting; departures can pause after heavy rain. Life jackets are provided, and the route takes roughly two to two and a half hours.
