Things to do in Szczawnica

5 hours to drift down through a limestone gorge whose walls rise to 300 m. Rafts run only from 1 April to 31 October, with July and August the busiest weeks, and the season stops completely from November to March.

Getting to the starting point and back needs its own transport plan, since Szczawnica and Sromowce sit at opposite ends of the same one-way run, not a loop you walk. Once back in town, the Homole gorge near Jaworki is a straightforward, flat walk from the village of Jaworki, a short drive from Szczawnica.
